The West Shore Theatre had been a focal point in the New Cumberland community since opening its doors in 1940. But after nearly 80 years of operation, the theatre fell victim to the changing economics of the entertainment industry and closed in 2018. In 2019, Friends of the West Shore Theatre, Inc. purchased the building with a dream to return this community icon to its former grandeur. From movies to live music to comedians to hosting private events, the West Shore Theatre is once again where you can dream a dream and watch it come to life!
While the Friends overhauled the theatre’s interior, upgraded to state-of-the-art technology, and expanded programming, Odessa Design rebuilt its brand and modernized its marketing with new identity materials, a user-friendly website, weekly email marketing, outdoor and print advertising, and more.
